7-11 Beer Festival Opening Night and Ceremony

The Carlsberg-Cottingham booth was definitely one of the most popular at the 2010 7-11 Beer Festival held in Kaohsiung in July.

The opening night was one to remember. The torrential rains dried up just in time for the opening ceremony which included a memorable speech by our very own CEO Mike Cottingham.

The crowds were out for the open air concerts at the annual 7-11 Beer Festival in Kaohsiung. Our promotion girls worked hard to introduce visitors to our portfolio and entertain the crowd.

South Africa Day in Taipei with Jagermeister

The South Africans of Taipei and their mass of supporters celebrated South Africa Day with a massive party in Huashan Taipei. Visitors were treated to a taste of South African culture with live performances, BBQs and of course the global tradition at a great party - Jagermeister!

Jager Train at The Lighthouse Kaohsiung

After the successful launch of the 7-11 beer festival, the Carlsberg-Cottingham team set off to famed Kaohsiung bar The Lighthouse to do some Jager trains and keep the party going. A great night out!

A Jager Train is a unique Jager tradition where Jager shots are line up on the rim of Red Bull glasses. The first Jager bomb is pushed creating a domino effect all the way to the end.

YOHO Beach Party in Kending 7/24

The YOHO Beach Party kicked off at their spectacular Beach Bar right on Nanwan beach. Of course Corona and Jagermeister were there to bring the party. Make sure you get yourself down to Kending for the next one happening on August 27 & 28. There promises to be some great live bands and other entertainment!

Oasis Pool Party 7/31

It was another amazing day at the Oasis Pool Party at the Taipei Country Club. It was a beautiful day, and the beautiful people came out to play and enjoy the perfect summer combination - Corona Extra and Jager.

Corona and Jagermeister were the drinks of choice while people swam, mingled and partied to cool tunes.

Kronnenbourg 1664 celebrates Bastille Day with The French Association of Taiwan

The French Association of Taiwan held a magnificent street party at the National Taipei University of Technology on July 10, 2010 to celebrate Bastille Day. The event was proudly French and featured street performers, live music and much more. Revelers enjoyed the day with Kronnenbourg 1664, France's No 1 selling beer.

Football Passion Hypermarket Activation

The sales team were also able to leverage football fever throughout all most all of the major Hyper Market chains. Football Passion displays promoting Carlsberg, Corona, Erdinger and Guinness were see across the island often with a promotion girl there to help the customer with their purchases.

Football Passion at Saints and Sinners Bar Taipei!

Carlsberg-Cottingham and Saints and Sinners Bar teamed up for a great summer of football over the 2010 summer. The place was packed and fans got right into the spirit, dressing in their teams colours while enjoying our beverages!

Carlsberg Girls at Hohaiyan Rock Festival

Once again the Carlsberg Girls made their annual pilgrimage to The Hohaiyan Rock Festival at Fulong Beach just north of Taipei. Sporting their popular beach uniforms, the girls worked hard and soaked up the atmosphere of the festival which attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year!

Carlsberg project featured in CMI Mercedes Sales Training

Carlsberg-Cottingham’s General Manager of Marketing Anders Billie, ventured down to Chaiyi in Central Taiwan, to hear the presentations of CMI Mercedes latest sales recruits. The presentations, part of an intensive six month training program, were a team building exercise where the recruits worked out strategies for improving Carlsberg’s business in Central Taiwan.

Mercedes Benz hosted a star studded live screening of the 2010 Monaco Grand Prix. The race which was held on May 16 was an exhilarating one, and while the Mercedes Team failed to claim a podium position, the Mercedes safety car was often called out to ensure the safety of the drivers. Carlsberg was the proud beverage sponsor of the 2010 Rock'n Girl festival held in Huashan Village. The festival is designed to encourage and discover young, female rock talent.

Carlsberg/Liverpool Outlet Event

On May 2, 2010 Liverpool played their crucial pool match in home jerseys with the Carlsberg logo printed in Chinese - the first time this has ever happened! Although the result didn't go Liverpool's way, we were able to give a number of fans the opportunity to win one of these unique jerseys. With only 200 produced globally, they are sure to become a collectors item!
